"Where Learning and Growing is Fun"

Programs:

Infants
The infants parents at our centers provide a schedule that meets the needs of their individual child/children.  The schedules are posted in the room and used for reference.  We also encourage parents to update the schedules frequently. Sensory stimulating activities are offered daily, that include new toys, songs, story time, finger-plays and gross motor activities such as "tummy-time".   Our goal is to encourage curiosity and learning at an early age, while meeting the developmental milestones as they grow. We have created an environment which allows the children to feel loved, nurtured, safe and secure.

Toddlers

We focus on social and self-help skills as the children grow closer to the preschool age.  We strive to make them more self sufficient and social during this stage in growing which will enhance their learning when they enter the preschool group.  As a center, we work with parents in the potty training process knowing that each child's potty training routine is different.  During group work we focus on basic concepts such as shapes, colors, positions, counting, and oral language.  The children are also read to daily, stimulating their imagination and creativity.  We also focus on finger-plays and interactive songs engaging fine motor skills.  Gross motor skills are worked on through group exercises, song/dance, and free play.

Preschool Program

We offer a preschool based program at each center. The children engage in almost 2 hours of preschool curriculum Monday through Friday from September through May.

Our preschool curriculum is created and taught by our directors who either have an Associates degree or Bachelors degree in early childhood or elementary education

The goal is to have the children engaged in a curriculum preparing them for kindergarten. Our programs are based on the kindergarten requirements from surrounding school districts. In the preschool and pre-k curriculum we focus on a weekly theme. All of the themes engage the children in language, literacy, mathematics & art. Science and Social skills are also brought into each weekly theme. We add focus to fine motor skills such as writing and manipulation of scissors. Prior to the school work the children engage in a half hour of either music related activities or gross motor activities. Overall we aim to create a fun and hands on learning environment in our preschool and pre-k age group, preparing them socially and educationally for the learning ahead.
